Based on scientific work, more than 100 scientific publications have been produced. Several PhDs and five Doctoral theses have been defended. The scientific bases of organization and quality in the rations of aid provided to patients, and the scientific bases of organization and system of medical and social rehabilitation in a non-governmental narcological institution are discussed in the doctoral these of V. Bauer (1998) and Y.S. Yusupov (2002) (29)*. A significant volume of the available patient testing materials has required qualitative processing. To this end, work has been carried out to find opportunities for a more qualitative analyses of the data gathered. (4, 19, 27)*
The results of research have facilitated the development of the author's position on the mechanism behind the d evelopment of addiction, and subsequently on our approach to treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. A scheme of treatment technology has been developed, and a functional management model has been created for this technology. Scientific justification was provided in the doctoral thesis of J. Nazaraliev regarding the new treatment technologies that were to be applied in a non-governmental narcological institution (1998) (15)*.
Morphine-functional research connected with the influence of morphine intoxication on human physiology and the effectiveness of enterosorption in the treatment of withdrawal symptoms was provided in the works of J. Nazaraliev and his co-authors (11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 23)*. Specialists of the Center carried out an experimental research to find out to what extent high doses of alcohol influence the endocrine organs of laboratory animals (rats) in low and high mountain conditions. The results of this experimental clinical research have been published, providing the basis for a scientific approach to the correction of applied therapy, and for practical application of modern pharmacological achievements. (5, 6, 23, 24)*.
Paying particular attention to cholinergic system in the pathogenesis of drug and alcohol addiction, MCN, in the course of a number of years, has carried out clinical analyses of the influence provided by atropine doses on the functional systems of patients in the course of the atropine Central Cholinolitic Blockade. (CCHB)
The materials of these research projects have become the basis for the "Treatment of the Opium Withdrawal Syndrome."
The Acute Phase of the "Central Cholinolitic Blockade Method" Monograph (2003) demonstrated the positive effects on the state of the patents in the acute phase of opium withdrawal that are produced by application of the CCLB in the course of treatment.
