The fourth, conclusive stage, ‘Liberation,' is carried out on the 28th through 35th day. This is the strongest stage in terms of psychological influence on patient's consciousness, and is a psycho-emotional peak of the entire psychotherapeutic process, responsible for personality reconstruction, formulation of life goal achievements, and formation of strong directives for a future drug-free life. Patients either choose Pilgrimage or a strong Stress Energetic Psychotherapy called “SEPT”.
Patient who chose Pilgrimage must travel for more than 200 km across mountain paths and roads towards the mountain of Salvation, thus to perform Drug Rejection Ritual and free themselves from the burden of drug addiction.
The road is not simple; it is a way to self-determination and self-comprehension, an extreme test to challenge the spiritual power of the inner self and stability of positive motives.
This ritual provides colossal psycho-emotional discharge, the effect of which stays in one's memories forever as a reserve of power and confidence in personal freedom.
The core psychotherapeutic moment at this level is Drug Rejection Ritual, which is voluntarily approached by the patient during the whole treatment course.
This ritual includes three elements which serve as important psychological anchors: throwing the stone off one's shoulders', symbolically tying a piece of fabric in a knot on the hawthorn branches, and burning off old clothing - which means burning the heavy past.
Patient, who chooses Stress Energetic Psychotherapy as a fourth stage of treatment, ought to perform Drug Rejection Ritual first.
In this case, Stress Energetic Psychotherapy becomes a strong psychotherapeutic finale, which totally destroys psychological addiction and supplies a great confidence in the power of self, in the power of "I am new" and "I am drug free forever!”.
